Hosta Wide Brim

Beautiful, long-lived perennial, the queen of shade in gardens. Some varieties reach a height of up to a meter, although most stay under 40 cm. This variety reaches a height of 35-40 cm and a width of 45 cm. Its distinctive large, dark green leaves have a cream margin at the edge. The plant's main asset is its broad, oval, heart-shaped leaves, whose coloring is incredible. In autumn it loses its leaves, but it comes back up again in spring. The flower is lily-like, light purple, and appears in summer on tall stalks. It likes moist but well-drained soil, shade or partial shade. It can be planted in pots or in the garden in combination with other plants.
